We Need To Talk...It's Not You, It's Your Blow Dryer.

It may be time to end this toxic relationship. I'm sure your very comfortable with eachother since it's been so many years, but you know it's over.

If you've always felt completely hopeless when it comes to your hair, it may just be your blow dryer. Technology has come a long way on this front. It's now much more affordable to own a professional grade dryer without breaking the bank. I can't stress how important this is to maintain a strong healthy head of hair while using heat.

One of the most important parts of styling your hair is its journey from wet to dry. Mastering this will ensure a long lasting style no matter which you choose. To accomplish this, the right dryer is key. I recently tried the Dyson Supersonic and I was literally blown away. The speed is unmatched and it is so quiet.

This ain’t your mommas blow dryer. It is expensive ($399+ tax) To me, even as a professional, this seems a little expensive. However, once considering its life span and after using it, it's a steal. This dryer takes a lot of the work out for you. It is an amazing dryer and worth every penny. Dyson just knows what to do. The air comes out very slow, yet powerful, which eliminates frizz and allows you to control the direction of the air.

I want to also recommend something at a lower price point because I can definitely understand a $400 Dyson blow dryer not being in your budget. The babyliss pro nano titanium hair dryer is a close second for me. It's very similar as far as results are concerned and it's priced at about $70. Very affordable and great on your hair.  Truthfully switching to ionic technology of any brand will be an upgrade on your hair while increasing its shine and vitality.

The better you care for your hair during the six to eight weeks between appointments will help us keep your hair goals on track while also allowing you to enjoy your hair much more.  So in short, let's work together!

Keratin Treatments: FAQ's

What is a keratin treatment?
A keratin treatment is a chemical process that smooths and shines frizzy hair. Results can last up to six months. There are many different versions of the treatment, and you can customize a blend of the formula to suit your needs.

Can you walk me through the process?
The length of time it takes to do a keratin treatment depends on the formula being used, as well as your hair texture, and the amount of hair you have. Expect your salon visit to last anywhere from two to four hours. When you arrive, your hairstylist will first wash your hair. Then, depending on which product we choose for you, we will apply the product to wet or dry hair. We then blow dry and flat iron the treatment in.

Is this different from a chemical relaxer?
Absolutely. While keratin treatments are temporary and wash out after a few months, straightening chemical relaxers are permanent. The two treatments also use different ingredients that produce different results. Using a main ingredient of sodium hydroxide, lithium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, or guanidine hydroxide, chemical relaxers break and restructure the bonds in curly hair so that the hair becomes weaker and straight. Instead of altering the chemical composition of your hair, keratin treatments actually inject the porous parts of your hair with protein, so that it feels smoother. After a few months, this washes out.

Can I do this at home?
Yes, but don’t expect salon-results. You’ll first need to buy the right products. Many treatments contain the word “keratin,” but that doesn’t automatically make them “keratin treatments.” All hair is made up of “keratin proteins,” so keratin-named products aren’t rare. To get the best experience at home, look at the products’s ingredient list. A lot of smoothing treatments are actually intense silicone and conditioning treatments. After that, look at the instructions. Do they provide extensive instructions on how to wash, dry, and straighten your hair? If not, you probably have a standard conditioning product, and not a keratin treatment. And even if you buy an actual keratin treatment, your results won’t last as long as the salon version. Where a salon treatment can last for several months, at-home versions tend to wash out after a few weeks.

I colored my hair. Can I still get a keratin treatment?
Yes! You can safely have both dyed hair and a keratin treatment without the risk of damage.

Who should avoid it?
Keratin treatments are not recommended for women who are pregnant.

Photo Shoot with Anna Maria Perez De Tagle!

April 4, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

Anna Maria Perez De Tagle, of the Broadway musical Godspell, and former Disney Channel Superstar, spent the day with us. We were so happy to have her in the studio. She was doing a promotional photo shoot for an upcoming show of hers.

For her look we agreed on long, beachy but polished waves, with a center part for the first part of her shoot. We simply wrapped small sections around our Babyliss PRO 2 inch Curling Iron without clipping and then pinned each section loosely with hair pins. We let her hair cool off while she got into her first outfit. About half way through the shoot we decided to change her part to the side for a more sultry feel. She looked beautiful, if we do say so ourself!

It was a lot of fun and we look forward to working with Anna Maria again in the near future!

Sam Lim of Fashion Indie!

June 25, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

Samantha Lim, an editor for Fashion Indie dropped by for a little glam session. Sam was a lot of fun and interested in a little afternoon glam.

We figured texture was the way to go. We showed her how to achieve this adorable waved look at home with our Babyliss Pro Nano Tittanium 2 inch curling iron, and a few helpful hair hints. She wanted a clean day look so we gave her a light shimmering smoky eye with a bold set of lashes. We also sent Sam home with her very own Neat Freak Caboodle that we filled with some awesome DDF Skincare, including the sensational Revolve exfoliating tool. She was overjoyed and super thankful, we hope to see Sam again soon!

Melora Hardin!

May 30, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

Melora Hardin, formerly of The Office, and now starring in a new show coming to TBS this fall called The Wedding Band, stopped by to visit during the TBS Upfronts, and we think, was pleasantly surprised with all the fun stuff we had here in the studio.

Melora browsed our racks and picked out many pieces that she fell in love with like this amazing Desigual jacket, that matched the outfit she wore to the studio that day. We also loved  these awesome Cotton Dittos cropped jeans that we styled with this peach MNG by Mango blazer, a colorful Buji Baja scarf, and these sparkly Michael Antonio hot pink wedges. Once we were done playing dress up with her, she chose this ready to wear Turquoise dress by Karen Klein to go straight to her shows rehearsal that evening. We threw a lovely white silk flower from Custom Fabric Flowers in her hair and told her about this amazing company that has so much heritage in the Fashion DistrictMelora sat down with our beauty expert for a hair touch up and got some really nice waves with the Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Curling Wand and picked up a few DDF products along with a Neat Freak Caboodle that she chose as her favorite to pack all of her beauty goods in. She was set, and so thankful!

Socialyte Bloggers Lounge

February 22, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

During the Socialyte.co Gifting Suite, we had a DDF Representative on-site using the new Dermscope Skin Analysis application. Jessica Lapitos from Fashionindie.com, and Christine Oagsheng, both wanted to keep it natural so we used the DDF Weightless Defense Oil-Free Hydrator after finishing up with their Dermscope skin analysis. We gave Jessica a warm eye with the ULTA My Girl eye shadow pallet. Annabelle Fleur of Vivaluxury.blogspot.com, wanted to take home and test out the DDF Wrinkle Resist Pore Minimizer. She had great skin so we wanted to keep it that way. For her makeup we did a dramatic cat eye with the ULTA Dark Denim eye crayon.  Sky Nellor (DJ & Model) stopped in. We just did a touch up on her already-perfect makeup, by powdering her nose with the ULTA Fabulous Face Pressed Powder, and shadowing her smoky eye with the ULTA Mink eye shadow, adding a little depth around the corners. She was already a huge fan of our DDF Skincare, so we decided to gift the Revolve 400X Micro-Polishing System, and the Sulfur Therapeutic Mask. Jenni Radosevich from the BudgetFashionista.com, who was headed to the Blog Lovin’ awards after this event, had her makeup done. We primed her with the DDF Wrinkle Resist Pore Minimizer, and the DDF Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew. We then gave her the ever popular cat eye with a dark cranberry lip shade by ULTACarlene Thomas also received the DermScope Skin Analysis and we decided to gift the Wrinkle Resist Pore Minimizer because she loved it so much. Aidyn Crowe, wardrobe stylist, fell in love with the DDF Amplifying Elixir, so we used that with the Advanced Firming Eye Cream. We wanted her make up to last for the night ahead so we made sure and primed her eye with the ULTA Eye Shadow Primer. Then we gave her a powerful smoky eye, and a soft pink lip by ULTA.  Nicole Stillings, Managing Partner at HRS Fund, had a quick evaluation with our DDF representative and liked the Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew. Her makeup needed a little refreshing so we gave her a touch of the ULTA bronzer on the apple of her cheeks. Riza Manalo, designer, stopped in and absolutely loved the Blemish Foaming Cleanser. All in all, the event was a huge success, with an outstanding turn out. Good times with good people.

Cory Kennedy!

March 9, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

The lovely Cory Kennedy came to the Fashion District to stop by Caravan Stylist Studio for a hair and makeup appointment with our Beauty Expert.  She decided to keep a simple look with a sophisticated pony tail and cool cat eye.  Before she left, she picked out really cool black waxed jeans by Andrew Charles and a black 60’s retro inspired handbag by Radley London.  We were so excited to have Cory visit us! We love her column in NYLON and we check out her blog itscorykennedy.com often.  We can’t wait for her to come back and see us again.

Jenni Radosevich of iSpyDIY.com Stops by for Pre-Photo Shoot Primping

March 12, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

Jenni Radosevich, of iSpyDIY.com, and BudgetFashionista.com stopped by the studio before her photo shoot with Timeout Magazine for the full treatment.

Jenni was really excited about her shoot and we wanted to make her look beautiful while still familiar to her fans. She wanted something easy-going and fun for her hair, so we went with beachy waves that are growing so popular in fashion these days. We used the Babyliss Pro one inch curling iron, and wrapped each section tightly around the barrel without clipping it. It gives a really loose feeling wave that is sure to last all day.

We prepped her skin with the DDF Wrinkle-Resist Pore Minimizer and the Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew. For her makeup, we kept it simple and gave her a strong liquid line by ULTA and bold lashes to make her eyes really pop in photos. We dusted her cheeks with our ULTA Radiance Baked Bronzer, and used the ULTA Tinted Lip Balm in the shade of Melon which really made her lips stand out but still remain nude looking, also really trending this season.

She looked absolutely gorgeous and we can’t wait to see all the photos and Jenni very soon!

Melissa Farman!

March 12, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

Melissa Farman of the new HBO movie Game Change came to the studio to get ready for a night full of red carpets and camera flashes. Melissa played Bristol Palin, in the portrayal of her mother Sarah Palin’s journey through the 2008 Presidential Campaign. Melissa had the premiere of the movie to attend so we wanted her to look like the star she is, and gleam in front of the ensuing media frenzy that was sure to follow for the evening. We started with our amazing DDF skin care and prepped her with the DDF Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew, and followed with the DDF Wrinkle-Resist Pore Minimizer. She loved the two products so much that we decided to gift them to her, along with the Caboodle of her choice to tote her new skin care, and ULTA makeup case in. As a young actress she wanted to keep her face fresh, clean, and not overdone, and we couldn’t agree more. We started with the ULTA Shade-Adjusting Foundation in the light shade. After, we gave her a subtle smoky eye in a purple hue using our ULTA It Girl eye shadow pallet, and then lined the eye with the ULTA Fearless Eye Crayon.  We added a touch of our ULTA cherry bomb eye shadow to the apple of her cheeks, paired with the ULTA Bronzer to contour her cheeks a bit. We used a shimmering nude lip gloss to pull everything together. Her hair was long and lustrous, so we wanted to have it down and bouncy for the evening. We gave her a big blowout using our Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Blow Dryer, setting each section on pin curls, while we worked on the next. Once we were finished, the pins were released and for a little added movement we used our Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Curling Iron to add a few soft curls to the bottom. She looked picture perfect! Melissa was a beautiful young lady inside and out and we enjoyed all the time she spent here with us in the studio. We look forward to working with her in the future! - See more at: http://www.caravanstyliststudio.com/843/843/#sthash.PLNyTZGO.dpuf

MochaManual.com’s Kimberly Seals Drops By

March 12, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

Kimberly Seals Allers, of MochaManual.com dropped by to get ready for an interview with New York PIX11 News. Kimberly was a joy to have in the studio, and we loved getting her glammed for her big day. We started by educating her on the importance of good skin care, and showed her all of our great DDF products. After we cleansed, we prepped her skin with the DDF Aloe Toning Complex and followed with the DDF Wrinkle-Resist Pore-Minimizer. We then gave her a dramatic eye with our ULTA It Girl eye shadow pallet, fully equipped with a bold set of lashes, and a strong liquid liner. We finished the look of with just a touch of our ULTA Radiance Baked Bronzer and the ULTA Lip Gel in a light raspberry shade. Her hair was short and sweet so we figured a tight curl was just her speed for the day’s events. We used our Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Flat Iron to curl the small sections, and a light gloss to stretch the curl a bit, and also to add some shine for that camera. We dressed her in a beautiful green dress by Just…Taylor, and she styled it with her own knee high boots. We thought it would be nice to gift her a cute Caboodle of her choice to hold some ULTA goodies and all her beauty essentials, for the girl on the go. She looked fantastic, and felt great!  When she left she was fully ready for her close up.

Cory Kennedy!

March 22, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

Cory Kennedy, of NYLON Magazine, came by the studio for hair styling and makeup before a charity ball for Endometriosis last week. She wanted a look that said ‘glamorous rock star’. We couldn’t have agreed more. We started with our DDF skin care, and she commented on how much she loved the products that I used on her the time before, (Wrinkle Resist Plus Pore Minimizer, Advanced Eye Firming Concentrate, and Toning Complex). So we went with the same regimen. I decided to gift the DDF Revolve 400X Micro Polishing System, the best polishing system on the market, the DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask, the DDF Advanced Eye Firming Concentrate, and the DDF Wrinkle Resist Plus Pore Minimizer. I loaded all her goodies into the LoveStruck Train Case Caboodle that she picked as her favorite. For her makeup we did a smoky eye with our ULTA Eye Shadows, in the brown hue. We then gave her an orange lip, paired with a bold set of lashes. For her hair we did a cute up-do using our Babyliss Nano Titanium hot tools. We started by giving her a super bouncy blow out, because volume was going to be our best ally for the hairstyle she had chosen. We used a large round brush and Velcro rollers to set each section on for maximum volume. When we finished we dropped the rollers and began to tease her hair at the base of each section. We then simply pulled the bottom half of her hair up into a ponytail with a small rubber band. After, we swept the remaining tresses up and over the existing ponytail, and pinned them down with a slight pompadour in the front. We used a vented brush on the hair that was still down and brushed upward to create a soft, but voluminous silhouette. Then pushed the pony into itself creating a messy bun that looked super chic! We can’t wait to see Cory again, she is always tons of fun!

Orfeh Stops by for a Glam Sesh!

March 30, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

Orfeh, a Broadway star/Tony-nominee, known best for her roles in Footloose, Saturday Night Fever, and Legally Blonde, stopped by the studio to be dressed and have her hair and makeup done for the opening of the new Broadway musical NewsiesOrfeh is a doll, and we love having her here in the studio. She is full of great energy and we really enjoyed her company.

She wanted her hair to be bouncy and full of body, and we agreed. We started with the Babyliss PRO Nano Titanium Blow Dryer and gave her hair a rockin’ blowout, set very high on hairpins, while we worked on her makeup. We then dropped her hair and teased the crown with a rat tail comb, and curled a few of the bottom pieces to add a little extra movement and it looked fabulous.

We then started with our DDF skincare and had her wash her face with the DDF cleanser and then followed with the DDF Amplifying Elixir, and the DDF Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew. She loved the products so much so we thought it would be nice for her to have a few of the ones we used on her to take home along with a new Caboodle. We gave her the DDF Advanced Eye Firming Concentrate, the DDF Cleanser and the Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew and packed them into the Glam Slam Caboodle that she chose as her favorite. Orfeh does her own makeup for her shows so she made it clear that she would be carrying that thing everywhere and it would be her most prized possession.

Once she was fully educated on the benefits of DDF. We applied her foundation with our ULTA Mousse Foundation and set it with the ULTA Pressed Powder. For her eyes we wanted a super smoky look to make her beautiful, green eyes pop! We started with a dark brown shadow and followed with a very black shadow to intensify the brown. We then applied a bold set of lashes and gave her a strong cat eye to pull the look together. We gave her a ton of bronzer and added a kiss of blush to her cheeks, paired with a natural lip gloss. She truly looked flawless! We hope you agree!

Rica Swim Launch Hosted By Jessica White and DJ Cory Kennedy!

April 9, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

Thursday night was insane! We had a press preview for the latest collection from RICA SWIM. Just in time for summer, RICA SWIM showcased some of their hottest looks for the quickly approaching beach season! We were thoroughly impressed with the creativity of the line, which showcased cuts that haven’t really been seen before.

We had over 100 great people in attendance. Specifically, the star of the show Miss Ava Sanjurjo, Designer and Founder of RICA SWIM, models Jessica WhiteCarola RemerJade Jackson, and Betty Adewole, DJ Cory Kennedy, and many important members of the press.

Backstage was crazy as always, while our fabulous stylist worked on getting the girls accessorized and styled, we were knee deep in hair and makeup. The looks were sexy yet playful with fun ponytails and long cascading waves, with a smooth, dewy face paired with mega lashes and tons of bronzer, all of which complimented each suit to the fullest. The girls looked amazing and we had a great night.

Carrie Preston of True Blood Visits!!!

April 17, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

Friday was very exciting!! We were honored to have Carrie Preston, of True Blood, and The Good Wife, come to us for hair, makeup and wardrobe styling. Carrie was looking for something sophisticated for her TV interview with New York LIVE. She was invited to talk about her upcoming movie ‘That’s What She Said’, which looks super funny, and we’re dying to see it! Carrie was really sweet and we loved taking care of her. She chose a darling black with white piping top, with a matching floral laced pencil skirt from Reddoll by TM for her outfit. She looked picture perfect! She also took this beautiful Twinkle by Wenlan assymetrical dress for her premiere the following night.

We wanted her hair and makeup to compliment the outfit without overpowering it, so we agreed on a cute updo that would surely scream sweet and innocent. We started with our Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Clip-less Curling Rod, this is the best tool for effortless looking detail. We teased her hair at the base and wound random pieces around the rod to give the look an unintentional feel. We then pulled the sides back into a secure ponytail and pinned the remaining sections thoughtfully around it to disguise the closure.  We then used our Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium 1 inch Curling Iron to softly curl the bang that was left out to add a little softness and fun to the style. By curling a few pieces and then using a small amount of Rusk Cream will instantly make the look more fun and less structured, while preserving its polished quality.

For her makeup we agreed on a clean look. We began with our DDF products. The Amplifying Elixir led the way, followed by the Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew, and Wrinkle Resist Plus Pore Minimizer. The Wrinkle Resist Plus Pore Minimizer is one of our favorites of the line, it gives you instant gratification by hydrating skin and shrinking pores. At the same time, the peptide-packed formula exfoliates and repairs skin cells for lasting anti-aging benefits. Once her skin was prepped and ready, we smoothed her foundation on, and followed with her eyes. We started with an iridescent shadow, in a soft pink hue that would shimmer beautifully in any light. We gave her a ton of lashes that were sure to wave hello to the cameras. We added a touch of ULTA Bronzer with a little blush to bring out her cheeks a bit.

We wanted to show Carrie our appreciation for her visit so we made sure she went home with some cool items. We let her choose her favorite Caboodle to tote all of her goodies in. She chose the cute black and white checkered Caboodle and we packed it with a few of the DDF products we used and ones that worked best with her skin. She left with a huge smile on her face and we can’t wait to see that smile again soon!

Alysia Reiner and T’Keyah Crystal Keymah

April 20, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

Saturday April 14th was the 10th Anniversary of the TV Land Awards, which airs on Sunday April 29th 2012. I had the honor of getting two very special attendants ready for a night full of bright lights, champagne sipping, and elbow rubbing!

We sat down with Alysia Reiner, best known for her role in Sideways, and discussed her thoughts on ideal red carpet looks. Alyisia was fond of the faux bob that is becoming uber-popular in the ever-changing hair world right now. It allowed her to channel her inner-pin-up girl!  We used our Babyliss Pro Blow Dryer to achieve the height and smoothness of the style. We then simply teased the base for added support and pinned it accordingly. We incorporated a deep waved bang with the bob, which kicked the style up a notch. Alyisia loved her hair and makeup, and sent us pics with a lovely thank you. I made sure she left with a few things as well. I gave her a set of Babyliss Pro Hot Rollers and a DDF Advanced Eye Firming Concentrate with an On-The-Go Caboodle that she said would be perfect for her little girl! She looked fantastic, and left feeling confident and sexy!

T’Keyah Crystal Keymah stopped in for the full service as well. She was being honored, along with members of the original cast, for her roll on In Living Color. She had her makeup done by our in-house beauty expert, and chose a beautiful floor length purple Von Vonni Wrap Dress for her red carpet look. We kept her makeup as clean and natural as possible with a shimmering eye, a thick but relatively shorter cat eye, and a ton of lashes. She was so sweet and looked stunning in the dress! I gave her the Ready-To-Go Caboodle, our smallest Caboodle, since she mentioned she was traveling and would be flying back to LA soon. We also gave her the DDF Ultra-Lite Moisturizing Dew, and an Advanced Eye Firming Concentrate. She was very pleased with her goodies!

Stephanie Sherk

April 23, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

Aspiring actress Stephanie Sherk stopped by the studio for a glam session before the Tribeca Film Festival hosted by Vanity Fair. Stephanie was planning to wear a gorgeous green and white floral printed Allison Parris Party Dress for the evening, so we wanted her hair and makeup to compliment the fun flirty style of the dress.

After a bouncy blowout with our Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Blow Dryer, Stephanie was open to trying a few different options for her hair but ultimately fell in love with a simple side bun, agreeing that it was the best look for the dress.

We then did an application of our favorite DDF products. Starting with the DDF Aloe Toning Complex, a great product for removing any excess makeup, we used a cotton ball to wipe her face completely clean, and followed with the DDF Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew, Amplifying Elixir and Wrinkle Resist Plus Pore Minimizer. Her skin felt like silk. We then gave her a touch of foundation and bronzer to accentuate her gorgeous cheek bones and a slightly smoky eye, with a ton of lashes.  We gave Stephanie a Ready-To-Go Caboodle with a few of the DDF products that we love inside, along with a mini set of Babyliss Pro Hot Rollers, a girl on the go’s best friends.

Byrdie Bell

May 3, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

I was so excited to have the beautiful Byrdie Bell, model/actress, in for a hair and makeup session for an upcoming PSA about HIV. Byrdie was a blast and kept us laughing with her giggly personality. We wanted her to have a clean, natural and approachable look for the PSA, so we went with an undone beachy wave, which we achieved with our Babyliss Pro Curling Rod. We started by taking small sections and wrapping them around the rod for a few seconds. After every piece was waved we made sure to drown her in our favorite Rusk hairspray so the life of her tresses would be a long one.  We then went in and destroyed the perfection of it with a light Rusk Cream, and ran our fingers through to make it a little messy. For her makeup we needed a ‘not too done’ look but just enough to make her glow on camera. We gave her a light shimmering eye shadow with a ton of lashes, and lots of bronzer. She was very happy with her overall look and returned a few days later for another appointment with us! On this day, Byrdie was attending a party and had a specific look in mind for the night out. She selected a very chic and classic low ponytail with a center parting, and wanted the same makeup that we did on her previous appointment. We started with a bouncy blowout with our Babyliss Pro Blow Dryer to ensure a little height with her sleek ponytail. We then simply pulled it back into the low ponytail and wrapped a small piece of hair around to disguise the closure, and smoothed over any fly-aways with our Rusk W8less Hairspray. We gave Byrdie a few goodies to show our appreciation for her visit, a gift bag with a set of Babyliss Pro Hot Rollers and a cute hot pink Ready-To-Go Caboodle. She looked amazing as always and we can’t wait to see Byrdie again!

Jenni Radosevich Gets Ready for her Book Party!!

May 3, 2012 By Adreanna Jones

Jenni Radosevich of ISpyDIY.com, one of our favorite bloggers, came by for a glam session before her book party for the launch of her new book, I Spy DIY Style, which is available in stores now!!

Jenni wanted to look her absolute best for her big night and we couldn’t have agreed more. She designed this really cool skirt with feathers that she made herself in honor of her personal DIY Style, and the launch of her new book. Jenni loves the fashion district and even gave us a few tips on where to find the best deals and her favorite trim shops in the district. She commented on how much she loves her Caboodle that we had previously given her and said that she stores all of her DIY supplies inside.

We decided to go with her favorite hairstyle, a loose wave with a super clean face, which would surely compliment the fun flirty style of the outfit. Jenni inspired us all to go out and make ourselves a new outfit!

We started with our DDF skincare and applied the DDF Aloe Toning Complex to remove any excess makeup. We then went with the DDF Ultra-Lite Oil-Free Moisturizing Dew, and the Wrinkle Resist Plus Pore Minimizer to fully prep her for her clean face look.  We did a simple mini-cat eye, with a raspberry gloss for her perfect pout.

We started her hair with a super bouncy blowout using our Babyliss Pro Blow Dryer, then went in with our Babyliss Pro 1 and a ½ inch curling iron and wrapped each piece around the barrel and set it on hair pins while they cooled off. We then dropped them and personalized the tresses with a light Rusk Cream to distress it a bit.

She looked picture perfect, and we made sure Jenni took home a few DDF goodies. We gave her the Weightless Defense Oil Free Hydrator and the DDF Wrinkle Resist Pore Minimizer. Jenni was as sweet as always and really appreciated the time we took out for her. She is on tour for her book now, so make sure you go out and get your copy, there is some really cool stuff in there! We can’t wait to have her back!!
